Aveta to market Peugeot Motocycles in Malaysia
Aveta Bringing Peugeot Scooters to Malaysia in 2026!
Good news, scooter fans! Local motorcycle company Aveta International is teaming up with Peugeot Motocycles to bring their stylish scooters to Malaysia. Expect to see them hitting our roads in early 2026.
Aveta, known for their current lineup of affordable bikes, is looking to introduce Peugeot as a more premium option for Malaysian riders. This means we can expect scooters with a touch of European flair and potentially some cool features.
What Models Can We Expect?
While we don't have the exact model list yet, Peugeot produces a range of scooters. Their higher-end models like the Metropolis, XP400, and Pulsion are made in France, while the Django Classic and Speedfight come from China and Vietnam. Whether we will get the European-made scooters remains to be seen.
Peugeot is clearly keen to expand in Southeast Asia, with plans for flagship stores across the region. This partnership with Aveta will be a key part of their strategy. It's a good opportunity for Aveta too, who currently offer a range of bikes like the Vanguard, Nova, Ranger Cub-Cross, Marvel 150, VZR 250, and SVR180.
Keep an eye out for more updates as we get closer to the 2026 launch! Which Peugeot scooter are you hoping to see in Malaysia?
