Merdeka Ride: More Than 1,000 Bikers Show Their Patriotism!

Brothers and sisters! The semangat of National Month is burning bright! Over 1,000 Malaysian riders from all walks of life recently gathered in Sungai Buloh for the “Ride Merdeka Madani” – a konvoi motor organised with Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM).

The event, flagged off by Sungai Buloh MP Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, wasn't just about riding; it was a celebration of unity and family values, showing off the true Malaysian spirit of diverse communities riding together as one.

The 12km ride started from Menara AIM and ended at the Sungai Buloh MP’s office. Participants started gathering as early as 7:30 am, fueled by semangat and free fuel top-ups. Each biker also received a special National Day shirt and, most importantly, a helmet to ensure keselamatan di jalan raya!

Datuk Seri R. Ramanan posted on Facebook, saying the ride symbolized the unity of Malaysia Madani, bringing Malaysians together to celebrate independence. He also expressed his confidence in the flourishing patriotism among the people after seeing their cheerful faces waving the Jalur Gemilang with pride.

“Let us strengthen unity, drive economic growth and make Malaysia a nation that commands respect on the world stage!”
