According to Sentul police chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari, two local suspects, aged 38 and 28, were apprehended in separate raids around Kuala Lumpur on October 26th. Syabas PDRM!

β€œThe raids were conducted by the Sentul Police Station’s Crime Prevention Patrol Unit. Following the arrests, we recovered three stolen motorcycles reported missing in the Sentul and Wangsa Maju areas,” he stated.

β€œFurther investigations revealed that these suspects are linked to at least four other motorcycle theft cases across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor,” Ahmad Sukarno added during a press conference.

Both suspects have prior records related to criminal activities and drug offenses. β€œUrine tests confirmed the presence of methamphetamine in their systems,” he confirmed.

β€œWith these arrests, we’ve solved seven motorcycle theft cases in KL and Selangor, recovering stolen bikes worth approximately RM50,000!”

β€œ'Geng Ajoi' is believed to have been preying on riders since July, specifically targeting motorcycles parked in apartment complexes and along roadsides,” explained Ahmad Sukarno.

The gang primarily targeted popular models, including:

  • Yamaha Y15ZR
  • Yamaha LC135
  • Yamaha 125Z
  • Yamaha RXZ

Police also discovered motorcycle frames at the suspects' residences. They allegedly sold these parts online and through direct sales. Aduh!

β€œThese individuals could steal a motorcycle in a mere two to three minutes!” he revealed.

Ahmad Sukarno urged the public to increase vigilance, emphasizing the importance of parking in secure locations and using additional locks. Ingat guys, kunci motor elok-elok!

β€œThe police will show zero tolerance and will take decisive action against anyone involved in unlawful activities.”
