Moto Morini XCape 700 & 1200 Coming to Malaysia in 2026!
Good news, Malaysian bikers! Get ready to welcome the Moto Morini XCape 700 and XCape 1200 in January 2026. These adventure bikes are set to hit our shores with attractive price tags: RM33,888 for the 700 and RM49,888 for the beefier 1200.
At RM49,888, the XCape 1200 might just be the most affordable motorcycle above 1,000cc in Malaysia. Let's dive into what these bikes offer!
XCape 700: Your Entry to Adventure
The XCape 700 is powered by a 693cc parallel-twin engine, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It churns out a respectable 75hp at 8,500 rpm and 68Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm โ enough grunt for Malaysian roads and weekend getaways.
It comes with an 18-litre fuel tank, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. Suspension duties are handled by adjustable Marzocchi upside-down forks up front and a preload-adjustable Kayaba monoshock at the rear, ensuring a comfortable ride whether you're on asphalt or tackling light trails.
Braking is managed by twin 298mm front discs with Brembo four-piston calipers, and a 255mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper. ABS comes standard.
Other features include a 7-inch TFT-LCD screen, a plastic engine skid plate, hand protectors, and a manually-adjustable windshield. The XCape 700 weighs in at 213 kg and offers 178 mm of ground clearance.
XCape 1200: The Tech-Loaded Beast
The XCape 1200 is Moto Morini's most advanced bike yet, featuring a powerful V-twin engine. This 1,187cc beast delivers 125 hp at 9,000 rpm and 105 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Prepare for some serious power!
The electronics package is comprehensive, including five riding modes, cornering ABS, three-level traction control, a six-axis IMU, cornering lights, cruise control, navigation display, blind spot radar, a front digital camera, heated grips and seat, and a quickshifter.
Like the 700, it rolls on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel, with adjustable Marzocchi forks and a monoshock providing 180 mm of travel. Seat height is 860 mm, and it holds 23 litres of fuel. The XCape 1200 weighs 245 kg.
Braking power comes from twin 320 mm discs with four-piston Brembo calipers up front, and a single 280 mm disc with a single-piston Brembo caliper at the rear.
Bonus! Both the XCape 700 and 1200 come with two side panniers and a top box included in the price, making them ready for touring right out of the showroom.
Verdict?
The Moto Morini XCape 700 and 1200 look set to offer Malaysian riders a compelling blend of performance, features, and value. Keep an eye out for them in 2026!
